This scandal has had the weirdest chain of consequences. I would never have predicted calls for increased security at the GOP convention, or the firing of a 1800Flowers employee. (I feel sorry for her, too.)

The college student is charging the UCF Campus Catholic group with violations of campus hazing rules:

Apparently, student groups cannot make a student eat anything -- the rule's intent is to prevent fraternities from making their pledges eat disgusting stuff. But the campus ministry group has at least technically violated this rule.
