Through my favorite tv chef, Alton Brown, I learned about the best cookbook ever published: Cookwise, by Shirley O. Corriher (who frequently makes cameo appearances on Good Eats). Using her book, I learned to cook a wonderful whole grain bread (in fact, I need to make some one of these days). And now from Jesse James Garrett's Hidden Agenda, I learned that Corriher will have another book on baking out soon, as soon as she finishes the cake chapter.
I foresee some serious baking in my future. I hope the book is published during a semester break!
